Artist Statement

Art has always been a way to celebrate character as much as beauty, and my vintage glamour paintings live at that crossroads of classic style and beauty in modern times. I paint women who feel real—confident, playful, and slightly larger than life—captured in rich color and traditional oils on intimate canvases from 8x10 to 16x20. Each piece begins with the small things: a tilt of the head, a hand on a hip, a half‑smile that suggests its own short story. I linger over expressive faces, graceful gestures, and the play of light across skin, fabric, and hair so the viewer is invited to linger too. The mood is glamorous but approachable—sensual without being crude, nostalgic without feeling dated. These paintings are meant to be lived with, bringing warmth, charm, and a touch of playful sophistication into everyday spaces.
